Assy 250469 Rev. 4 #1

This is an Assy no. 250469 Rev. 4 short board. The machine would start up with garbled characters across the middle section of the screen.

I suspected that the character rom was causing the problem. I therefore removed the chip, and soldered in a socket and replaced the old character ship with a known good one.

And the machine was working again.
